Origami draws from the rhythmic structure of accordion folding, a technique that transforms a flat sheet into a dynamic three-dimensional form. In this work, the delicate lightness of paper is reinterpreted through marble, creating a contrast between visual softness and material weight. The piece preserves the fluid geometry and repetition of folded paper while imbuing it with a sense of permanence. Through this translation, Origami explores how form can carry memory across materials, revealing the poetic potential of structure beyond its original medium.
